We decided to get out of town and head to Utah for Memorial Day weekend. The kids did fabulously in the car, even when our DVD player stopped working about an hour in.
Our first stop was a visit with Jennie and Forrest. We hung out for a few hours and ate yummy dinner. These cousins look more like siblings in their matching glasses and blonde hair. And they get along perfectly.

Our next visit was with Josh and girls. Marcie and Liam were out of town, we missed them! These little dolls are only 2 weeks apart. And look like mini Suzette and Marcie.

Layla and Brenna had so much fun, along with Kempton in the mix.
Averie and I spent the entire day shopping for everyone's summer clothes. We don't have shopping where we live, so it was a ton of fun. We shopped til we dropped!
We stayed with Shawn and Chelsea and had a blast with them. We went up to the mountains and roasted hot dogs and s'mores. Chelsea also took our family pictures (thank you! thank you!).
I am so lucky that my brother and husband love each other. I am chop liver when they are around each other, but it's fine by me! We just laugh constantly.

A big thanks to hotel Shawn and Chelsea for letting us crash at their place the entire time!
Our final stop out of town was with Nichole and Clay. We spent time with them going out to eat and in their pool.
We loved watching Nichole run laps around the pool chasing after this little busy-body-cutie-patootie! And Averie enjoyed having noodle spray wars with uncle Clay.
Our trip to Utah was just what the doctor ordered! We spent time with lots of family and made memories with cousins.
